Credits & expiry, in plain English. Subscription credits use per-batch FIFO — credits granted in January expire 6 months later in July, February's expire in August, and so on. New grants don't reset the clock on your older credits. PAYG credits never expire. The 1 free signup credit expires 3 months after you sign up.

What does a credit actually get me?

One credit covers about 10 minutes of SMS chat with an instructor, or about 5 minutes of live voice (Pro only). Credits draw down only while a conversation is open — not when you're typing or thinking.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Text UPGRADE to go from Basic to Pro right now — you'll pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period. Text DOWNGRADE to step down at the end of your current paid period (no surprise refunds, no surprise charges).

What happens to my credits if I downgrade or cancel?

You keep them. Subscription credits that were already granted stay valid for the full 6 months from their grant date, whether or not you're still subscribed.

Is there a contract?

No. Subscriptions renew monthly. You can downgrade or cancel any time via the customer portal or by texting our number.

How does voice work on Pro?

Two modes. Hold: you call our number and stay on the line; an instructor accepts and you're bridged. Callback: text VOICE in a chat, then we call you back as soon as an instructor accepts. Either way, you talk live.
